This project is a photobook that explores the relationship between colonialism and feminism by exploring bogs as both a feminine entity and a site of colonial tension. it presents the narrative that bogs are passive, feminised land, awaiting colonial intervention as a mirror to discuss the idealised woman of colonised Ireland, likening the desire to contol land to the desire to control women.
